I love inspiring musicians to create unified and passionate artistic expressions in a way that captures the human imagination.  I look for musical works in a variety of styles that elicit a unique and sympathetic response from the human spirit, and then use them to build concerts that are welcoming—that are designed to draw new audience members into our performances.  My goal is to make everyone present feel like they are part of an emotionally thrilling and socially meaningful shared experience.

As much as possible, I prefer concerts that have something for everyone—some element that they can connect with in their own unique way.  Concerts should both comfort the listener with the known and capture their imagination with the unknown.

ChoralSong Rehearsal

Daniel Price, Artistic Director / Conductor

ChoralSong is a new choir of the Pikes Peak Region founded in the Spring of 2023 which is dedicated first and foremost to enriching the cultural life of its community.  In our inaugural concert season (2023/24), we are excited to present 3 highly engaging and expressive performances designed to attract a broad spectrum of our community.

While the population of our community has been and is projected to continue growing rapidly for the foreseeable future, the number of choirs in the area has not grown in the last 3 decades.  We believe that as the Pikes Peak Region grows, so should its arts community.  ChoralSong plans not only to be part of that growth, but also to fill a unique niche.

ChoralSong has positions for 16-20 talented voices that are committed to presenting concerts featuring many styles of music.  As lovers of all kinds of choral music—from Renaissance to Romantic to Gospel to Jazz—our goal is to perform each with the same degree of artistic integrity.  Obviously, this requires a unique choir of matched and flexible singers, with experienced leaders committed to making that vision a reality.

By keeping our choir small, we can operate efficiently while at the same time keeping our audition standards as high as possible.  Our goal is to build a reputation for excellence that begins here in the Pikes Peak region, and quickly spreads across the nation.

As ChoralSong looks forward to our first season, we invite you, your family, and friends to come and spend some delightful afternoons and evenings with us.  Stay tuned and for more information, visit the ChoralSong website at:  www.choralsong.org
